- Federal Legislation for Language Access
- Gender Neutrality in Spanish
- How to Work Effectively with Interpreters
- Interpreter Mental Health and Self-Care
- Language Access in Healthcare
- LGBTQ+ Issues as they Relate to Interpreting
- Mental/Behavioral Health Interpreting
- Trauma-Informed Interpretation Services
- Vaping Concepts and Terminology
These are all areas in which I am competent to present in both Spanish and English. I can always present in a hybrid fashion to facilitate understanding between both languages.

English title: Know Your Rights! Linguistic assistance in the medical field. I had reached out to a local community center that serves the immigrant population in Richmond, asking if there was any way I could give a presentation in Spanish on LEP patients’ rights when seeking healthcare services. Not only did they agree to hosting […] In April of 2018 I was invited to speak to upwards of a dozen students of interpretation and translation in their medical interpreting class at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Invited Presentations & Workshops
I’ve been invited to present at a number of conferences and other events, but unfortunately due to COVID-19, most of them have been indefinitely postponed or cancelled. As these events take place, I will remove them from this list and include them in my past presentations and workshops. I am honored to have been invited!
