
Many interpreters who once worked in the field are now working from home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. With this comes a new occupational hazard: neck, shoulder, and back pain!
I go over a bunch of different strategies for not only dealing with those moments where the stress and anxiety seem to overwhelm us, but also activities I recommend doing every day to mitigate stress as it builds up. While this was written with remote interpreters in mind, most of these suggestions can help anyone!
